Dear Friends and Supporters,
I hope this message finds you well despite the challenging times we find ourselves in. My name is Hamza, and I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the urgent and dire situation my family and I are facing in Gaza.
The events that unfolded on October 20th marked a turning point in our lives as we were forced to flee our home in Gaza City amidst a barrage of gunfire and chaos. With only the clothes on our backs, we left behind the remnants of a life shattered by conflict. Our once peaceful home was reduced to rubble, leaving us with nothing but the harsh reality of displacement and uncertainty.
Currently, my family, consisting of ten adults and three children, is living in makeshift tents amidst the constant threat of bombardments and violence. The safety and well-being of my loved ones hang precariously in the balance as we struggle to secure even the most basic necessities. Access to food is scarce, and the healthcare system, already fragile, lies in ruins, leaving us vulnerable and exposed.
In the face of such adversity, the need for immediate action cannot be overstated. Time is of the essence, and every passing moment brings with it the risk of further tragedy and loss. That is why I am reaching out to you, my friends, and supporters, in the hopes that you will join me in an urgent effort to evacuate my family to safety in Egypt.
Your contributions will directly support this critical mission, providing the means necessary to ensure the safety and security of my family as they embark on this journey to a better future. Additionally, any remaining funds will go towards essential living expenses, helping to alleviate the burdens of rebuilding shattered lives in the aftermath of conflict.
