Shadow Merland Davis, my little hero, is currently undergoing exploratory surgery. It's been heart-wrenching to see him struggle without knowing exactly why. Over the past few weeks, he hasn't been able to gain weight, and since Saturday, keeping any food down has become impossible. His usual spark has dimmed, and it's been tough watching my lively companion go through something so challenging.
Living in Milton, New Hampshire, Shadow has always been more than just a pet; he's family. I still remember the first day he bounded into the yard, full of life and mischief. Now, the uncertainty around his health weighs heavily on my heart. The thought of him in pain, without answers, is unbearable.
