Melanie and Alyssa are temporarily living in Atlanta for Alyssa's cancer treatments. To say it's been an ordeal is an understatement.
Adding to all their current stress, Melanie was in a car accident last night, while out in search of the good ice (which is a definite must). She was hit by another car, but now must find$500 to pay for her deductible.
Medical related travel, plus the cost of treatment, meds and all that, is already prohibitively expensive. This additional cost is a stressor that hopefully we, her community, can alleviate for her.
