Feed the Future: Supporting Students, Fighting Hunger
At Sussex County Community College, we recognize that success in the classroom begins with meeting a student's basic needs. Yet, too many students face food insecurity while trying to balance school, work, and family responsibilities.
Feed the Future is our response. Through this initiative, we can stock the Horton Nutrition Center on our campus with food and essential resources, which are available for students to pick up during the day or take home to their families.
Your generosity makes this possible. Every donation helps us fill our shelves with nutritious food and essential options, providing students with the energy and peace of mind they need to focus on their studies and achieve their goals. No gift is too small, and each one changes a student’s life.
Together, we can build a campus where every student is nourished, supported, and ready to succeed. Thank you for standing with us in meeting this need.
Governed by the presidents and trustees of the state’s 18 community colleges and enshrined in state law, the New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) supports New Jersey’s community colleges and the more than 230,000 students they serve annually across 49 locations by fostering collaboration and developing solutions that expand access to college, promote equity and student success, and create a skilled workforce to drive economic growth.
