We are starting a livestock rescue and refuge built on a simple but powerful belief: every animal deserves a second chance at life. What began as a shared passion between my wife and me has grown into a purpose driven mission to provide a safe, caring place for horses, cows, and other livestock that have nowhere else to go.
Too often, these animals are overlooked when they are injured, abandoned, or no longer considered useful. Some come to us hurt and in need of time, patience, and proper care to heal. Others are rejected early in life like calves whose mothers won’t accept them or are simply left behind due to circumstances beyond their control. We believe none of these situations should be the end of their story.
Our refuge is more than just a place to house animals it’s a place of recovery, trust, and new beginnings. We are committed to giving each animal the individual attention it needs, whether that means bottle feeding, medical care, rehabilitation, or simply a calm and safe environment where they can feel secure again. Every animal that comes through our gate will be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.
This journey isn’t just about rescuing animals it’s about restoring life and purpose. Watching an injured horse regain its strength or a once-rejected calf begin to thrive reminds us why we started. These moments reinforce our belief that with the right care and a second chance, these animals can go on to live peaceful and fulfilling lives.
As we build this refuge together, our goal is to create something that not only helps animals in need but also brings awareness to the importance of compassion and responsible care. We want to be a place where animals are not judged by their past but given the opportunity to move forward.
