Hi!
My name is Gertrude Alaina. I'm an undergraduate student at Harvard University, studying Psychology with a 3.79 GPA and a spot on the Dean’s List.
Over the last three years, I’ve worked full-time to put myself through school—while becoming a mother in 2022. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding.
This fall, I have the amazing opportunity to attend in-person classes at Harvard College—something I’ve dreamed of for years. My job covers 90% of my $14,000 tuition, and I’m reaching out for support to help with the remaining amount, due in June.
Funds raised will also help me purchase a new laptop—my current one is nearly a decade old and no longer working.
