I’m a little behind in reaching out, but my excitement and passion are stronger than ever.
Many of you have heard me talk about the incredible honor of participating in the 2027 New Year’s Day Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. Through my involvement with Pride Bands Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, I have the extraordinary opportunity to be part of something truly historic.
Pride Bands Alliance has been invited as the first-ever LGBTQIA+ nonprofit music and performance arts organization to participate in the 138-year history of this iconic event. This is more than just a parade, it’s a groundbreaking moment of visibility, pride, and representation on one of the world’s most celebrated stages.
To make this dream a reality, I am working to raise $8,000 to cover the costs associated with this once-in-a-lifetime experience. My immediate goal is to reach at least half of that amount by July 2026.
I cannot do this alone. Your financial support will help me take part in this historic journey and represent our community with pride on New Year’s Day 2027.
