I have acres dedicated to Endangered and Protected Wildlife as well as Lost and or Unwanted Animals.
There are Gopher Tortoises and Barn Owls who live in the 2 1/2 acres Sanctuary.
Mama Owl just gave birth to 6 babies, only three made it to adulthood.
We are hoping these three will help the dwindling population.
I could sell the property to make my life more comfortable but, my life is not as important as the animals'.
As long as Im alive the property will be used as a safe haven for Wildlife and other animals in need.
Before I die I will make plans for someone to carry on with the same objective.
Unfortunately the Taxes and maintenance to accommodate the animals in a safe and secure environment have gotten out of control expensive.
We also feed, foster and provide a safe Haven for over 75 cats in different Colonies.
We try our best to neuter as many as we can for population control.
We have a no Cages policy for all of our animals.
We need food and Parasite medication, not to mention Veterinary care on a monthly basis.
