Hello friends and family! Rowan has spent the last year immersed in gymnastics. Back in June she was given a spot on Monadnock Gymnastics competitive team. She has absolutely loved it and has worked hard and placed well at every meet she has attended.
She really wants to continue her journey and compete again this coming season! As you know I am a single mom who works hard to be able to provide everything that Rowan needs and desires. Being on competition this past year has been financially very difficult for me to achieve. This year I am wondering if you might help Rowan continue her gymnastics dreams. Your donation would mean the world to her and to myself.
Things Rowan has learned during her time on team:
- To always try her hardest and know that as long as she did her best she is winning.
- How to cheer for others; teammates and competitors alike. Even the other team should be treated like your own!
- Mentorship. She was matched with an older girl on team to help foster learning and confidence across levels.
- She has learned that 4th place still feels really good! She doesn’t have to win 1st place to feel like she has done well and have pride in her accomplishments.
- She has bonded and made lasting friendships with her team mates, on her own level and above. Even the big girls enjoy working with her.
- She has mastered many physical skills like her round off and hand stand. Her current big goal is to master her pull over on the bars!
- Her coach’s praise her kindness and compassion. Her drive and positive attitude. Her determination to learn new skills even when they are challenging to her. They love having her on team and consider her an asset
Each donation will get a special thank you card from Rowan and myself. We thank you in advance for your generosity!
Love,
Rowan & Beth
