YOU DID IT!!!

Thank you for RAISING THE ROOF! 😺😽😸😻 For the Hiram Village Cat Colony!

The 11 cats who call the Village of Hiram's Cat Colony home now have 6 Kitty Tubes so they don't have to seek shelter in the wood, on the Hiram Village Loop ODNR Trail and in the parking lot under a truck between the Hiram College Townhomes and the ODNR Trail Entrance.

The Hiram Village and Surrounding Neighborhoods Nextdoor Page truly responded to the call for compassionate care for Harold the Orange and the Hiram Village Cat Colony.

Individual Angels have swept in in terms of anonymous and ongoing food donations.

Corporate Angel Pet Supplies Plus in Streetsboro, Ohio has stepped in and stepped up with a monthly and critical ongoing food donation.

The colony is now never hungry.

Angels have stepped in and built temporary shelter, converting an old compost bin to a tarp covered, blanket lined summer shelter for the Colony to rest in and gather and feed during bad weather.

Angels in the form of the Portage Animal Rescue League have generously offered spay and neuter services to keep the Colony healthy and NOT growing.

Portage ARL has also graciously offered intake services as available to any ill member of the Colony.

Hiram College has offered Volunteers access to the site and allowed us to meet their needs.

The Colony has the floorboards and now the ROOF it has long needed!

Angels have made generous donations here and in real time to purchase 4 Kitty Tubes to the Colony site to create a truly safe and happy outdoor home for these cats.

The Kitty Tube Company matched those 4 with another 2, only asking for our donors to cover the shipping cost.

Durable, insulated, simple to maintain, incredibly long lasting, these Kitty Tubes will keep the Colony safe, dry, warm/cool and comfortable for years on end!

Donors, please watch for an invite this Fall to a "Thanks From The Colony!" Reception/Meet and Greet at the Colony Site!

We - and our four legged friends - THANK YOU!!!

We have intentionally left this site open if other caring neighbors may be interested in donations to help add more nutrition for the Colony and to hopefully purchase flea/tick and other needed care items for them.

Any donation amount is welcome and we will be SURE to let you know how it has been used to care for the Colony.

With deep gratitude...
