Hi! My name is Lindsay Gaines Fincher, Miss Alabama 2022. I am so excited to represent Alabama at The 2023 Miss America Competition! I am raising funds for scholarships for the Miss America Organization as I prepare to compete. Generous scholarships provided by The Miss America Organization help thousands of women across the country achieve their educational goals. The Miss America Organization is empowering the next generation of leaders and scholars to reach their fullest potential through scholarship assistance - just like it did for me!

I am a recent graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and Political Science. Thanks to generous scholarships provided by the Miss America Organziation, I was able to attend my dream college and graduated debt free! During my time at The University of Alabama, I was involved in a variety of on-campus service and leadership roles. I was a University Fellow, Member of The Blackburn Institute, Vice-President of Alpha Chi Omega, and Associate Justice with the Student Government Association. I was also honored to be selected for membership in all four of UA's premier honor societies and to be named a member of The XXXI, recognizing the 31 most influential women on UA's campus.

I plan to continue my education by attending law school in the future in hopes of pursuing a career as an entertainment attorney. I earned over $17,550 in scholarship assistance when I won the title of Miss Alabama, and I've earned over $100,000 in cash and in-kind scholarships throughout my journey as a candidate in the Miss America and Miss America's Outstanding Teen competitions. I'll have the opportunity to earn even more scholarships at the national Miss America competition, and you can help make this possible! Your contributions play a vital role in providing scholarship asssitance and allowing women across the country to pursue and achieve their educational goals!

The Miss America Organization's mission is to "prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women." One of the ways we do this is by providing scholarship assistance - from the national competition, all the way to our local communities. No donation is too small! Thank you for your support as I prepare to represent Alabama at Miss America!
