The 4th Annual Meggs Cup @ TPC Piper Glen

TPC Piper Glen vs. Pine Lake Country Club

This event is a 2-day gross match play tournament against the best players at both clubs. Piper Glen and Pine Lake both had a very close connection to the Meggs family. Daniel and Doug Meggs were two of the fiercest competitors you could ever be around, so this event was created to honor their memory.
Last year’s event was held at Piper Glen with the away team squeaking out a narrow victory.
This year Pine Lake heads back to Piper Glen where the home team hopes to claim the coveted Meggs Cup.
For the event there are 2 main competitions taking place:
- First, the event on the golf course. This consists of 30 players on each side in a better ball match play format over 2 days.
- Second, we are challenging each team to raise money for The Meggs Foundation and The Luke Day Foundation. We ask that you donate money to the team you think will win the 4th annual Meggs Cup, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to young adults living with cancer, so they can focus on their physical health, mental health, and overall wellbeing while they go through treatment. In addition, proceeds will go to families that have unexpectedly lost a child. The money raised with make huge impacts on peoples lives

We have a star-studded list of players this year consisting of former PGA/European Tour members, College All-Americans, and Korn Ferry Tour players. Also, we also have some future stars of the game and some other halfway decent players that were lucky enough to make the teams.
