Charlie finally has a kidney donor!!!

A couple of months ago, someone who has known Charlie for years saw his story about needing a kidney. This person decided to get tested. And they were a match. What an amazing sacrifice and miracle!

We are all born with two kidneys. But you only need one.
In 2017, Charlie was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a rare disease that causes scarring in his kidneys.

The last several years for Charlie have been filled with adjustments to try to improve his kidney through specific diet changes and exercise. As well as praying for a kidney donor. At this time, he is living with only 10% of his kidney function. But all of that is about to change!
