Hello,
My name is Kales and I want to be transparent about where I am right now.
I am an art student graduating next year. Art is not just a hobby for me. It is my focus, my degree, and the direction I am building my future around.
I am also neurodivergent, and over time I have learned what allows me to function well. Living alone is not about preference. It is what helps me stay regulated, productive, and mentally steady. When I have my own space, I can manage school, commissions, and work without burning out.
As I plan for next year, I need to secure housing that allows me to live independently. Rent in my area is around one thousand dollars per month. Because of my disability, I can only work a limited number of hours while staying healthy and keeping up with school. I am already working at the maximum that I can realistically handle.
If I am not able to secure a place, I honestly do not know what my living situation will look like next year. That uncertainty makes it very hard to plan, focus, and move forward. Having stable housing is not optional for me. It is essential for my health, my education, and my ability to finish my degree.
I am opening commissions and sharing this fundraiser to help cover rent so I can stay stable and graduate strong. If you value my work, believe in what I am building, or simply want to support an artist finishing their education, this is a direct way to do that.
You can support by commissioning me, donating any amount, or sharing this with someone who might be interested. Thank you for reading and for being part of this community.
