Our family has faced several unexpected hardships in a short time, and we are asking for help as we work to regain stability. After my husband’s grandmother passed away, we were offered a place to live with his grandfather and told to leave our rental home before we had finalized plans. With only a few days to prepare, no other housing options, and a new tenant already lined up, we had to move quickly to avoid homelessness.
The sudden move came at a high cost. We sold many belongings for far less than their value and left behind items we could not keep, including furniture, household essentials, and other necessities collected over the years. Moving into his grandfather’s home was not our first choice, but it was our only option.
Unfortunately, things have become more difficult. Ongoing family conflict has created a stressful and unstable environment. As parents, our top priority is providing a safe, secure home for our daughter, and we are struggling to give her that stability.
We are doing everything we can to move forward, but we urgently need help to secure safe housing before our situation becomes even more unstable. Our goal is to find a home of our own where we can rebuild and create a healthy environment for our child. Donations will go directly toward the costs of obtaining housing, including a security deposit, first month’s rent, utility connection fees, moving expenses, and replacing essential furniture and household items we were forced to sell or leave behind. These funds will help us take immediate steps toward leaving our current living situation and providing our daughter with the stability and security she deserves.
