My uncle, Randy Garrow would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. He needs our help now.
He worked as a carpenter his whole life so he went in to the doctors for a back injury.
On May 24, 2023 his whole world was flipped upside down, he found out he had a mass on his kidney. It came back as Chromophobe renal cell carcinoma. He made the tough decision to get his whole kidney removed. He made an amazing recovery till his back started to act up again. He went through steroid shots and every hoop till it got so bad he was walking with a cane. His back doctor was suspicious when he came to sign consent for surgery in a wheelchair. He looked more into and after a ct scan of his pelvis realized he fractured his hip and potentially another suspicious lesion on his pelvis. May 9, 2024 he went in for a full hip replacement. The biopsy came back as cancer.
At this point he was deemed “retired” 😢
He has been through a bunch of MRIs,CT scan and doctor visits over the past couple months.
He received radiation to his hip and did his first of four cycle of immunotherapy (which each drug costs $40k EACH) on June 21st. After the first four cycles he will go for more imaging.
Unfortunately, the bad news just keeps coming in with more lesions on his spine. Which will require more radiation for pain relief.
Medical Bills are piling up and I do not want that to be a burden on Uncle Randy, Aunt Kelly n Kayla. They deserve to enjoying life and focus on fighting!
