Josh's journey began on September 5, 2023, when he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). What started as persistent fatigue led him to consult his physician, setting off a series of tests confirmed the devastating diagnosis. The news was profound shock to Josh and his loved ones, plunging them into a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty.

Determined to fight, Josh immediately began and aggressive chemotherapy regimen aimed at achieving remission. The toll on his body was immense - nausea, weakness, and hair loss became daily struggles. When chemotherapy proved unsuccessful, he turned to a clinical trial in the hope of breakthrough.

Through it all, Josh found strength in the unwavering support of his family and friends, who ensured he was never alone during hospital stays. A turning point came when doctors recommend a bone marrow transplant. In a stroke of hope, his brother was identified as a compatible donor.

On January 2, 2024, Josh underwent the transplant. The procedure and recovery were grueling, testing his endurance and spirit. Yet, his resilience prevailed, and by February, he received the news he had fought so hard for, his cancer was in remission.

But the battle was not over. On October 25, 2024, Josh relapsed. Once again, he turned to trial therapy, enduring six more months of treatment. However, this time, the cancer remained, and the treatments were no longer effective.

In March 2025, his oncologist made a pivotal decision: Josh would be sent to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. A new chapter begins - one that demands unwavering faith, hope, and strength.

This journey is far from over, and I invite you all to come along.
