Who: A committee made up of Mabton residence and led by Mrs. Vera Zavala and Mr. James Adams are coordinating this effort.
What: Building a Veteran’s Memorial honoring Mabton alumni and residents.
When: The goal is to complete the first iteration (wall and flags) by Veteran’s Day 2027.
Where: South East Corner of Highway 22 and Main Street.
Why: 1. Honor all veterans who have honorably served in our Armed Forces. 2. Expose younger generation to those who fought to preserve our way of life.
