My name is Eric, and for those who know me, you know the last 7 years of my life have been full of medical marvels and miracles. In 2018, I went blind in 1 eye, and that was the start of a long medical journey that consisted of 3 eyes surgeries in both eyes(reversing blindness in both eyes), breaking my femur and going into kidney failure in 2019 followed by undergoing a double organ transplant in 2021. There were so many operations in between those I couldn't ever remember them all to express them here.
Long story short, I have made it through all of those complications and I'm physical and medically more healthy than ever... However, due to broken nature of medical processing, negligence of third party billing companies and insurance handling in this country, there was a 2200$ bill that was completely missed from 2019 that has now showed up as a summons of garnishment against my wages at 25% and will be going into effect soon, despite the fact that none of this was my own fault.
Im asking for help in this time of need because I can not afford a 25% reduction to my income with more upcoming medical procedures.
