My name is Smokey Sims from the Bronx, now I live in Hell’s Kitchen and I believe no one deserves to go hungry. Growing up, I understand what it feels like to sometimes not have a decent meal, even though my mom tried her hardest as a single mother to provide for us. Those experiences stayed with me and shaped the person I am today. That’s why I give out free food to people in need, because everyone deserves to have a meal on their plate and feel cared for. Seeing the happiness on someone’s face when they finally have food means everything to me, and it reminds me why helping others and spreading kindness is so important. So I need this money to get a food truck supplies and to pay a chef and a driver in advance to get everything started.
