Hello, my name is Jayson and this fundraiser is to help support the expenses I cannot cover while I am recuperating after a big surgery coming up soon. As soon as I have the funds, I will be getting breast removal surgery. I am an extremely high-risk patient for breast cancer and have been needing this done for some time. Though I have been able to provide funds for the surgery, saving up for the after-expenses has not gone as easily.
I work a minimum-wage job and can only get around 30 hours a week because of physical restrictions. On top of that, I will be unable to work for 4 to 5 weeks following the surgery while I recover. These funds are to help support any additional medical needs, food coverage for the following month, and transportation expenses.
I do greatly need this surgery to help aid me in my health as I am at high risk of breast cancer now that I am 30. However, it is also my wish to feel how I am on the inside, on the outside. I am a trans man and this surgery not only helps my health condition but helps my mental state as well now that I will be able to show who I am.
It’s started to get really painful to bind and I’m struggling to pay my bills let alone save for the time off I need.
