Writing this and asking for this help is hard and uncomfortable, thank you for your time and compassion. I found out Friday that my job is only offering me unpaid leave for my top surgery. This was not *exactly* communicated to me and I missed the lines to read between until HR told me to kick rocks. I love my job, and I also need this surgery. I'm turning twenty-six in May, so this is my last chance to have the surgery covered fully by my mom's health insurance #thanksmeg. Unfortunately, my surgery is only twenty-four days away (2/16/22) leaving little time for me to save up the way I would have had I known earlier. I would appreciate any support so that I do not have to cancel my appointment. I have a lot of medical anxiety and am autistic, so it has taken a lot of tears to get through my consultations and finding a surgeon who is willing to accommodate my needs; I am extremely anxious this has all been in vain. If 125 people donate 16$, I will be able to take the time I need to heal and have the surgery I have been dreaming of for the last seven years. If you are not in the place to donate, I appreciate your time and attention, please share. Thank you.
