🐶 Help Alfie the Puppy Get Life-Changing Elbow Surgery 🐾
Location: Oregon
🐾 Alfie Needs Your Help!
Hi everyone,
This is Alfie—our goofy, loving, 8-month-old puppy who has already stolen our hearts. But behind his playful personality is a painful struggle. He was adopted from Salem, Oregon at 12 weeks and loves his pack, his dad and all things play.
Alfie was recently diagnosed with elbow dysplasia, a condition that’s causing him serious pain and making it difficult for him to walk, run, or play like a normal puppy. 🐾
Our vet has recommended urgent corrective surgery to relieve Alfie’s pain and prevent permanent joint damage. Without it, his condition will only worsen over time and shorten his lifespan.
💔 The Cost
The total cost of surgery, imaging, anesthesia, post-op care, and physical therapy is estimated at $8,000 - $10,000.00 This is a significant financial hurdle for us, but we’re committed to doing everything we can to give Alfie the healthy life he deserves.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
💛 How You Can Help:

🐶 Why It Matters
Alfie is still just a baby, with his whole life ahead of him. With this surgery, he has the chance to live pain-free, run again, and grow into the happy, healthy dog he’s meant to be.
We’ll post regular updates, photos, and videos of Alfie’s journey so you can follow along and see exactly how your support is helping.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Alfie’s story. We’re beyond grateful for your kindness and generosity.
With love and hope,

We took our puppy Alfie to an orthopedist appointment Monday ; he’s been limping more and more even with meds and rest (hard to rest a puppy) and they said he has total elbow dysplasia on BOTH sides. They did surgery Tuesday to assess how bad and it’s pretty much worse case scenario. He had damaged cartilage- bits and pieces : his right elbow has dead bone and horrible inflammation. They cleaned up both and took as much cartilage out and removed the dead bone back to healthy. He will be on complete crate rest for 8 weeks and they only expect to get 4-5 years of life out of his elbows. We are making drastic accommodations for him and hoping to get as much time as possible with him. Absolutely no jumping down from stairs, couches , beds etc. no wrestling or rough housing ; no running as much as possible. He got to come home today , taking one day at a time
