The brothers of Delta Tau Delta at Florida Institute of Technology are coming together to support the family of our brother, Travis MacBride, during this challenging time.
Travis is a hardworking, caring, and driven young man who has always been passionate about engineering, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying a day on the golf course. In December 2025, he graduated from Florida Institute of Technology, and just a few months later, he proudly began his career as an Aerospace Engineer with Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA.
Shortly after starting his new job, Travis was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), a serious but highly treatable form of leukemia. He is currently in an intensive care unit in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he remains on a ventilator while undergoing chemotherapy and receiving care from his medical team.
While his family and loved ones remain hopeful for his recovery, Travis's journey is only beginning. His hospitalization will be followed by what is expected to be a long and challenging road of rehabilitation, ongoing medical treatment, and recovery. Throughout it all, his family has remained by his side every step of the way, putting their own lives on hold to support him through this fight.
As his fraternity brothers, we wanted to come together to help ease some of the financial burden this unexpected medical crisis has placed on Travis and his family. Donations will help offset medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, lost income, travel, lodging, and the many unforeseen expenses that accompany a prolonged hospitalization and recovery.
No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please keep Travis and the MacBride family in your thoughts and prayers and consider sharing this fundraiser with others.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support as we stand beside one of our own. Together, we can help Travis and his family focus on what matters most; his healing and recovery.
