Soul of Autism is a photography project by Erica Bacon of Evermore Studios. Erica Bacon is a late diagnosed autistic woman with a heart for autism advocacy. Photos of autistic people of all ages and walks of life are captured and shared with personal stories from each person. The goal is simple: To raise awareness and acceptance of autistic people and celebrate the diversity and complexity of the autistic spectrum.
The goal is to not only share these amazing images and stories online, but to showcase them in ArtPrize 2026. ArtPrize is an art competition held in Grand Rapids, MI with artists from all over the world. Since all sessions are done at no cost to the subjects, funds are needed to cover material costs for the exhibit. Erica would also like to provide every participant in the project with a keepsake album showing all the photos and stories from the project.
