After years of migraines Melissa was due to go in for a spinal fusion. However, as the time drew closer, she was getting worse. She became non ambulatory, she was unable to eat and even if she did she would throw it back up. It was becoming more apparent that there was something else going on. On Thursday 10/13 her dad and I got her into the car and took her to the ER. At the ER they did her first ever CT scan of her head! There they found a mass at the base of her skull.
On Monday she had brain surgery to remove the tumor. All has been going well but of course this has taken a toll on us financially. I figure I would try to raise some money just to help out with bills, care, and some new things that we have to acquire that her insurance doesn't pay for but is still needed.
