For years, I’ve worked hard, built a home, and did everything to provide for my little girl. But life took a turn I never expected. After rent increases, job loss, and a devastating accident, I went from having a stable home to being homeless. For the last 9 years I have been fighting every single day to stay safe and keep hope alive. I
I lost my home.
I lost my stability.
And most painfully… I lost the daily presence of my daughter and biggest fan cheering me on thanking me for showing her what it looks like to always keep trying in life no matter the situation because life can change in the blink of an eye pick yourself up and carry
She’s been living with someone else, someone she barely knew, while I struggle to rebuild from the ground up. I love her with all my heart. My dream, my fight, my reason to keep going is to bring her back home to a safe, warm place where she can feel loved and secure again.
Everything changed one morning as I was rushing to take her to daycare. I fell down 18 concrete stairs, shattering my health and leaving me with spinal problems and mobility issues. The pain wasn’t just physical, I lost my job, my income, and the roof over our heads. I’ve lived on the edge ever since.
Despite everything, I’ve kept pushing forward. I’ve applied for jobs, gone to interviews, and held onto faith. But tonight, I’m asking for your help, not just to survive, but to finally rebuild.
