Today I met a mother of three named Christina and asked if she could help me with a few quarters to buy baby food.
Without hesitation, she said yes and handed me a $5 dollar bill.
To reward her kindness, I surprised her with $500 dollars.
That’s when she shared her story.
Christina is a single mom raising three little children, a 4-year-old, a 2 year old and a just 5-month-old baby while being homeless.
Right now, she has no car and has been going from shelter to shelter desperately searching for somewhere safe for her children to sleep.
Every day she’s faced with the heartbreaking reality of not knowing where her children will sleep that night.
Yet despite everything she’s going through, when a stranger asked her for help, she didn’t hesitate to give.
A mother with three babies should never have to wonder where they’re going to lay their heads at night.
