I am excited to be partnering with Polar Bears International for my first marathon on Dec 13 in Antarctica. I will be running 26.2 miles to pledge my support to a foundation with an amazing cause dedicated to saving a species on the brink of extinction.

Through my partnership with Polar Bears International, we have already raised $25,000 in support of future polar bears and our planet—but the fight is nowhere near close to an end.

I’m asking for your support! Any donation will help make an impact and motivate me through the cold 26.2 miles!

More Information:

Sadly polar bears, an animal which once roamed freely and safely, are now listed as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. While rapid loss of sea ice is the primary threat to the polar bear’s long-term survival, other challenges include pollution, increased commercial use of the Arctic, over-harvest, disease, and inadequate habitat protection.

At the 2014 meeting of the PBSG, the world's leading polar bear scientists reported that of the 19 subpopulations of polar bears, three were declining, six were stable, and one was increasing, but with increasing global temperatures, these numbers will only get worse.=

There's still time to save polar bears and Arctic sea ice. Change can’t happen overnight, and it won't happen without support from around the world.

So please join us in our efforts to make a significant decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, by spreading awareness about the real and pressing threat of climate change.

Donate now! The polar bears are counting on us.
