This struggling mothers identity will remain anonymous because everyone deserves their dignity. Please help with what you can. This mother is currently on disability and is running the risk of losing her vehicle because she fell behind with her payments.
We've all had times in our lives that have been particularly rough. When one keeps taking hits it's not just one more thing, the problems compound. If you knew someone in your immediate circle was struggling, what would you do? I know you would want to help. We are such a giving tight-knit community on this island I am actually so glad she was brave enough to disclose her situation. I know we can help her.
You could make an amazing difference right now in someone's life with very little effort. Let's put a struggling mother's mind at ease so she will know she is supported and her children can see a happy mom. If we all pitch in just a little bit it could help someone; (1) not lose their vehicle (2) clothes their children for school (3) feed their children (4) know that she has a network of people that care about her.
She has been using all the wonderful local resources for assistance but has hit a wall of receiving support.
What can you do? Every little bit will help. Give some dollars and give some hope.
