Dannie has been hospitalized for 8 days now, currently in the ICU in Billings, MT after being previously hospitalized in Gillette, WY. What lead to her most recent hospitalization is the lack of getting enough oxygen and severe pain she experiences with it. What was once a for-sure diagnosis of EGPA (also known as Churg-Strauss Syndrome) it is now an unknown problem. Doctors believe that she may have Eosinophilic Syndrome. Her recent prescriptions have slowly started losing their affect, and all the progress she once had is no longer helping her thrive. With her immune system being non-existent, and both the bottoms of her lungs being closed, she is having to undergo multiple testing and treatments just to be able to breathe.
She is currently on a BiPAP machine as needed, fentanyl, Tylenol, and muscle relaxers. She will be taking a bone marrow biopsy soon and is also waiting on the results of multiple different testing. Dannie will also be going to National Jewish Health for a treatment program within the next couple of weeks.
I ask all of her friends, family, loved ones, and even strangers, to help show her your support and fund her needs to help with not only herself, but her family as well. Dannie was to be wed October of this year (2025) but now with her hospitalization and overall health struggles, she has had to break the news that she is postponing her wedding. She also has a 12 year old daughter that must travel to and from her hometown as well as any hospital her mother has been admitted to. With school quickly approaching, her loving partner will be taking their daughter to orientation and providing travel expenses, thus taking time away from work.
