Hi, my name is Stephanie and my husband Jesse recently received a colon cancer diagnosis. We currently do not have insurance and our cost is over $40,000 so far for the surgery, CT scans, and a recovery room after surgery. This doesn't include the chemo or radiations treatments, the pathology, follow up care or anything else. I am trying to raise money to help with the overall financial obligations of living with a cancer diagnosis. (The medical bills, travel and basic living expenses) Every donation will help ease the heavy burdens we are currently facing.

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to send out an update. Jesse is doing good and recovering well. He has went back to work on light duty and can return to full duty at the end of the month. After the visit with the oncologist, Jesse will not be doing chemo or radiation at this point. The surgery seems to have been successful at removing the cancer. The spots on his liver and his adrenal gland have been classified as fatty tumors and do not need to be removed at this time. We will continue monitoring everything as recommended for the next 5 years and hopefully we will get a clean bill of health at some point.

Update: Jesse's surgery went well. They found a mass on his liver, so they took a biopsy of that. They also took out some extra lymph nodes that were very swollen. Waiying on pathology results. He is doing well and is currently at home recovering. He has been referred to an Oncologist and we will take that as it comes. Thank you to everyone who has stood by us, and helped us with our journey.
