Our Immediate Goal: $500 to Bring Natasha Home
Natasha, or Jugie to her friends, has been held in custody for months simply because she can’t afford bail. We need $500 to secure her immediate release, allowing her to return home and prepare for her defense. Every dollar raised will go directly toward ensuring her freedom andfuture safety.
A Strong Alibi and Unfair Circumstances
Natasha has a clear alibi, supported by evidence that places her in Kansas City, over two hours away, at the time of the alleged crime. She was nowhere near the scene, yet her ID number was used without her knowledge. We’re working to show the court the truth, but she needs to be free to build her case and gather the full evidence.
A Family Hit by Loss
Recently, Natasha lost her father, her closest support. She hasn’t been able to grieve or properly mourn his passing while in custody, which has only added to her hardship. She’s also homeless, which makes it incredibly difficult to prepare for court and gather the evidence she needs.
The Case Against Her
The charges stem from alleged forgery and firearm theft, relying on three main points: an old ID number of hers on a check, an uncertain sheriff’s identification, and a past conviction. Years ago, Natasha was a rape victim who was forced to defend herself but was charged with manslaughter due to inadequate representation. She served her time and was released, yet this past incident is now being used to question her character.
Let’s Not Let the Justice System Fail Her Twice
Natasha has already suffered once from a flawed legal process. Let’s not allow the system to do her wrong twice in one lifetime. Please help us secure her release and ensure she has a fair chance to clear her name. Your support, even a small amount, will bring her closer to justice and the chance to rebuild her life.
