Dear Family & Friends,

Imagine being able to extend kindness and uplift spirits by spreading hope in the heart of New York City—a place bustling with energy and diversity. This year, my Youth Group at Manor Church has been blessed with the opportunity to embark on a mission trip to NYC, partnering with Adventures in Missions (AIM) and hosted by Living Waters Fellowship, located in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

We are reaching out for your support to make this life-changing experience possible. New York City is full of vibrant neighborhoods, rich in cultural heritage and artistic expression, yet like many communities, it faces challenges. Our mission is to bring compassion and tangible help through initiatives like homeless outreach, city cleanup, children's ministry, and street outreach. Each activity is designed not only to serve others but also to deepen our understanding and love for our neighbors.

The total cost for this trip is $1,050 per student; however, through the generosity of our community, Manor Church will host a Students @ Manor Benefit Auction on March 22, which aims to lower this cost to $430. The auction will also help to support our dedicated leaders who will guide us with wisdom and love throughout this journey.

Your contribution is more than just financial assistance; it is an investment in compassion and service. It empowers us to grow spiritually, experience diverse cultures, and meet the pressing needs of communities across our nation. Please consider supporting our mission with a donation, prayers, or both! Your generosity will not only shape our lives but will also bring hope and love to those we serve. Together, we can make a meaningful impact. Thank you for your kindness and for being a part of this incredible journey.

Warm regards, Trinity

What an amazing experience! From helping at a food bank, to playing with children at a local park, to community cleanup & trash collection (including picking up a dead rat), to writing notes of encouragement for people, to cleaning the Living Waters Church; - I learned so much & deepened friendships with other kids in my youth group. I accepted the challenge to compete in a basketball tournament that some of the guys organized during off hours & we also got to do some sightseeing, including visiting Times Square & Rockaway Beach. it was a busy and fun time that I will carry forward & never forget. I will also never forget your love & kindness in supporting me in my first mission trip! It has truly been a blessing in my life and I thank you. with love, Trinity (& Laura)

Trinity’s in New York City! She met up with her youth group @The Lancaster Train Station this morning & departed @10AM. They arrived @Monihan Train Hall at Penn Station just before 1:00PM & are now at large in the city, navigating the subway system, which will take them their lodging spot in Brooklyn.

She promised to take some pictures, so we’ll share some of them, along with some stories from her experience, after she gets back on Friday the 27th.

Thank you all for helping her embark on this remarkable journey!♥️🙏♥️

Hello & Happy Spring🌷All!

Post Auction Update:
Our youth group raised a total of $38,000 for our NY Mission Trip @ our annual student benefit auction!

The local community donated all sorts of things, including gift certificates, small furniture items, handyman services and plants & flowers from a nearby nursery. Overall, it was the homemade baked & canned goods that those bidding seemed to be most enthusiastic over; a jar of pickles, or a tupperware of chicken corn noodle soup going for over $100 at times!

Church members also made & brought tasty fare, prepared in their kitchens for breakfast & lunch for hungry bidders to purchase during the length of the auction.

All the boys in our youth group auctioned off their services to do raking, weeding, & mulching on the church grounds, while the HS girls hosted a cookie decorating social.

My group of middle school girls auctioned ourselves off for a collective babysitting event for families with younger children. This took place after yesterday’s church services. We took care of & played with 8 children & raised $150 for our efforts! my friends and I were so busy playing & riding trikes with the kids, that we didn’t take much time for photos, but will share what I have in a separate attachment.

I have kept busy this spring, doing both track & lacrosse. With track finishing last week & lacrosse ending in a couple more, I’ll then begin practices for a lacrosse tournament team I play with. We compete every weekend in June, except while I’m away in New York City towards the end of the month!

As I finish my last month of 7th grade and then head into the summer, this trip is something I’m looking forward to and I continue to be thankful to each of you for your love & support. I’ll fill you in on how things went when I get back!

With appreciation, Trinity (& Laura)
