Our county has lost over 800 homes and businesses. We have never suffered such devastation here. It has left hundreds of families homeless and with absolutely nothing. The elderly it is heart breaking. Many will not be able to reconstruct and most are now condemned. There was up to 5 ft of water in some of the homes. We are now in the process of cleaning up the aftermath .
