I currently own a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country, that my ex has stolen money from my account and purchased. After surviving domestic violence, death threats and theft, I ended up left with this vehicle. The van will not pass emissions and has well over $4, 000 in repairs to be made. The transmission is going out and I fear that I will not be able get/hold a job if it breaks down on me (which is likely to happen very soon) I would like to get an entirely new car, something reliable for my job and safe for my children. I plan to find I suitable used vehicle, a midsized to suv. I am trying to find something that won't break down in less than a year, also not a minivan (I live in Colorado). Any help would be appreciated, even if you just share that would be helpful.
