I am thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to bring the world into my classroom! I have been honored with the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Award, a prestigious chance to enhance educational connections on a global scale.  Having successfully completed a challenging 10-week graduate program, I am set to travel to Senegal April 12, and returning May 1. This journey will not only enrich my professional growth but will also bring back invaluable insights and experiences to share with my students, fostering a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and global issues.  Part of this transformative experience includes extending a warm gesture of friendship and learning between our students and those in Senegal. I plan to distribute thoughtful gifts such as candy, scratch-and-sniff bookmarks, stickers, and personalized postcards filled with messages from our students. Additionally, I aim to share small tokens of appreciation with our host teacher in Senegal, along with school supplies.  I invite you to become a part of this immersive educational journey.
