Aloha,
I hope all is well. My name is Kaila Rose and I am a part of a 12u all girls flag football team here in O’ahu, we are known as Rose Gold Hawaii. We have recently travelled to Orlando, FL to compete in the World Championships and made it to our next level in our journey by advancing to the AAU Junior Olympics upcoming in July taking place in Houston, TX.
Being a part of Hawaii’s first all girls flag football travelling team to qualify and participate in the AAU Junior Olympics is one of the greatest achievements. Knowing that all the hard work and dedication put in by my teammates, coaches, family, and myself is worth it because it gives us all a chance to advance in our futures. It is also a blessing to have such guidance from this group of people that want nothing but the best for us.
As we all know, continuously competing at these well known events come with significant dedication, commitment, and financial ties that include; airfare, lodging, registration, and other travel related expenses. In order to complete this journey, I am humbly and respectfully seeking financial support to help cover these travel expenses to pursue and strive in a sport that I love playing.
I am extremely grateful for any donation amount contributed big or small, as you and your ohana (family) are cherished by being a blessing towards my journey. With your support, you are also giving me an opportunity to represent myself, my home islands, team, and ohana.
