My name is Rebecca, and I live in Crofton, Kentucky. At seventeen, I was diagnosed with PCOS, a condition that's made it incredibly difficult for me and my husband to conceive. My dream has always been to become a mother. I’ve been blessed with a wonderful stepdaughter who has taught me so much about motherhood, but the desire to have a child of my own has only grown stronger over time.
Over the past two years, I've been through a rollercoaster of emotions. I was first prescribed Clomid, which gave us hope when it worked, only for that hope to crumble with a miscarriage. It was a devastating blow that took a toll on my mental health. After taking the time to heal, I tried Clomid again with no success, so I switched to Letrozole with a new OBGYN. Despite diligently tracking every cycle and following every piece of advice, nothing worked.
Determined not to give up, my husband and I decided to see a fertility specialist. We were hopeful, but then came the news that our insurance wouldn’t cover the treatments. The cost was overwhelming, and each failed attempt seemed like another hurdle in our journey to become parents.
Despite all these challenges, our dream remains unchanged. We've decided to share our story, hoping that the kindness of others might help us bridge this financial gap. Every bit of support brings us one step closer to growing our family, and we’re incredibly grateful for any help we receive. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering to be a part of our journey.
