On April 13th a part of my world came crashing down when I had to take my daddy to the er for severe abdominal pain thinking it may just be gallbladder issues or something kinda simple you know, to being told it looked like colon cancer with a large lesion on his liver. Well after a liver biopsy and pet scan we got his diagnosis today it is indeed stage 4 colon cancer with metastatic secondary cancer in the liver and lung (mediastinal lymph nodes). So he got his port for chemo put in today and chemo begins on May 24th. He is my HERO!!
I am starting this account to gain as much help as possible for his chemo treatments, doctor appointments, travel, or anything they, may need as we all travel this rough road.
