Greetings, everyone. My name is Eldred Loftin. I recently began teaching at Ramsey Street High School, which is located in Fayetteville, NC. On May 19, 2023, while administering an exam, I was assaulted by a student. Upon going to the emergency room I was diagnosed with a concussion. I am currently being treated for the following: headaches, memory loss, blurred vision, slurred speech, inability to focus, loss of balance, to name a few. As a result of these injuries, I have been unable to return to work. I have applied for workers compensation benefits benefits, which is pending. I have applied for Social Security benefits; this to is pending. I have taken loans from my life insurance benefits. Alas, I have been unable to pay my rent, car note, revolving accounts, utilities, phone auto insurance, insurance premiums, to name a few.
