The Boo Boo Zoo is a no-kill animal shelter based in the heart of Maui. Since the devastating Lahaina fire on August 8th, the numbers of animals in desperate need of a safe haven have surged. Our refuge has become the lifeline for the majority of these creatures, who would otherwise face euthanasia. Every shelter and animal rescue team on Maui has been working tirelessly to provide homes for these displaced animals. The East Maui Animal Refuge, a 501 C3 rescue, is a 2.5-acre oasis located in Haiku, Hawaii. For over four decades, it has been a beacon of hope for Maui's local animals. Today, we need your support more than ever, as numerous species depend on us for survival. Despite having a team of dedicated volunteers, our efforts are constrained by limited funds.
