I didn’t want to post a public fundraiser, however I did want to have a platform I could share with my close network of neighbors, friends, and family, to see if anyone is looking for ways they can donate and be a blessing to a family for the upcoming holiday season…
Well, here’s an opportunity I’d like to share with you… My family and I are hosting my cousin’s six children (11, 9, 8, 3, 3, and 2) this Christmas, what a full house we will have!!! Backstory is, the children are currently in foster care due to their mother dying tragically at the hands of their father last Thanksgiving. Since that day, my husband and l became their next of kin, hosting them in our home this past summer, and now for Christmas.
The State of Nevada is flying them here on December 23rd, and they are staying until January 2nd. It will be a full two weeks of not only feeding them, buying them gifts, making sure they have clothes, but also making sure it is the most fun and memorable visit they’ve had, as this will be the first Christmas they’ll enjoy since losing both of their parents last year.
We are accepting donations, no amount is too small, towards our efforts to provide a beautiful Christmas for our bonus babies we are now the next of kin to: Prince (11), King (9), Noah (8), the twins, Summer and Reign (3), and Wynner (2).
