Emergency Move: A little back story about us: We are a family of 5 but currently it’s just my husband and I and our two kids living here with my in laws. A little bit about our family- Our daughter Savanna whom is 13 years old has selective mutism that falls on the autistic spectrum and hadn’t spoke in public settings, to family besides us and her brothers, or at school since kindergarten up until last year at the school here that she loves- which has been a huge step for her! She’s been making great strides here. Our 15 year old son Vincent has been big into football for years and also is really excited about starting high school this year and high school football. Fast forward to now a year ago we moved in with my husbands parents due to a slumlord at that time. We lost a lot of things with that last move.  Last Sunday morning my husbands mom was taken to the hospital due to having a massive stroke and was unable to speak etc. My husband being the only son and his other siblings are girls was pretty devastated and upset and worried about his Mother. He’s always been a mamas boy. The same day his Mom was put in ICU his three sisters came over here and told us that his Dad wanted us and our kids to get moved out by Friday. We are lost, confused, hurt and our children have been so hurt and upset. Changes are always hard but it’s even harder on the kids especially our daughter. As you can imagine the emotions we were already dealing with and now all this on top of it all has given us an extreme amount of stress, worry, mixed emotions of where we will go next and how we will get there. We don’t have any credit cards to assist us, we tried to apply for loans with no luck and we don’t have any savings as we are a low income family.  In addition, my husband had just started his new job that Saturday prior to this happening but is now without work due to us needing to move things and due to our only vehicle giving us overheating problems and the battery constantly depleting to where it won’t start. I’m the only one currently still trying to bring in income right now with my online sales job as my sole income to gather up as much funds as possible to be able to move us. But it is going to take a village to get things going for us to be able to get moved cause as you know when you move there’s the cost of gas, first months rent, deposit, application fees, utility deposits to cut on the lights and the water etc and of course we also have the issue of our only vehicle needing some repairs to get us back and forth and our children. This is us setting our pride aside to ask for everyone’s help. We would greatly appreciate all that are able to help us get things going for our family and of course prayers are needed as well.
