The George Kimball House sits on Highway 90, directly on the route of the Immortal 32 Ruck.

George Kimball was one of the leaders of the Gonzales Ranging Company, later known as the Immortal 32. This is where members of that company gathered before leaving Gonzales and marching to the Alamo in 1836, knowing they were unlikely to return.

This house was not built to be remembered.
It was built to be lived in.

Time doesn’t erase history all at once. It wears it down quietly. Without restoration, this piece of Texas history will continue to deteriorate.

This year, the Immortal 32 Ruck is raising money to help restore the Kimball House so this story doesn’t disappear.

Funds raised will go toward preservation and restoration efforts for the house, helping ensure it remains standing and accessible for future generations.

Standards are inherited.
If no one protects them, they fade.
