Then and Now is a new addition to day care centers in the Madison area community, https://thenandnowdaycenter.com/ offfering a unique approach to affordable care for aging adults. This concept grew from the personal experiences of Whitney Fowler, who imagined a better way to provide comprehensive care her grandmother. As a full time educator and lecturer, Whitney struggled to find affordable day care for her grandmother that provided more than just a safe and clean environment. She wanted a place where her grandmother was not just comfortable, but active and engaged. Then and Now is the amazing outcome of caring and creativity: multiple, themed rooms, each with engaging activities. Choices include a library, exercise room, music room, computer lab, hair salon, and the “Florida Room” for socializing and relaxing. In addition, there are day trips available to local experiences and sites.
In addition to supporting aging adults, Then and Now features a community shop supporting members of our community who are in need. The community shop is opened daily providing food, clothing, household items, toys, and personal hygiene products at no cost.
