Update: On Mother's Day Aya safely gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Tragically almost immediately Aya's house was bombed and her whole family, including her newborn and two other small children were now out in the elements with no shelter. Aya's needs are immense. Chiefly they. need shelter which costs roughly $500 a month. They need food for their family which costs roughly $400 a month. She needs diapers and milk which will no doubt vary in amounts as the baby grows, but are roughly $300 a week. We thank you immensely for the help you have contributed to date. We hope you will stand by Aya until her family is safe. Please share her fund, and help when you can.

Please share this link: Aya is stranded with her children in the siege on Gaza. She desperately needs your help to evacuate to safety where the family will not be relentlessly bombed. She and her small children are in a crowded camp without food, water, diapers, formula, hygiene items, and toiletries. Disease is running rampant.

We can help this family and we are the only hope they have to survive. They are unable to work and will suffer greatly without our support. Please share this fund and please donate what you can when you are able.

Aya's family like many others in Gaza is struggling to survive. Every day, finding and affording food is harder. A bag of flour is now $2000, and 1 kg is $80. 1 KG is about one day's worth for bread. And that is only bread. To eat anything substantial would cost at least $300 a day, which is not feasible for most families there. Added to the expense is the hardship of scarcity, so that even families who can afford to eat may be unable to find anything to eat. The markets are increasingly bare, as what little remains is hoarded by grocers and thieves. This situation of scarcity and expense is only worsening by the day. Until recently, flour was $500 a bag. Its quadrupled. If you can make a recurring donation to this family, please do so, even if it's a small one, so that their odds of being able to eat improve. If you could share this fund with those you know to see if they might be able to spare a donation, that would also be helpful. Thank you for helping Aya get this far. I hope we can continue to help. Warm regards, Elayna

It had been a while since I heard from Aya. The last time was almost a month ago. Normally, she is in close contact, so I assumed she didn't have internet or lost her phone. Finally, yesterday I reached out to check on her. To my surprise, she did respond within the day. She is despondent.

For context, Aya has a new baby, maybe 6-8 weeks old. Additionally, she has two other young children. She cannot find diapers, and cannot afford them if she could. I do not know how she is managing the lack of diapers. Some families have resorted to using plastic bags as diapers out of desperation. This can be detrimental to the baby's skin and health. There is a known blockade on baby formula. What this means is that Aya's best chance at feeding her baby requires decent nutrition for herself. She doesn't have enough to buy food or diapers. Milk is increasingly absent.

The first thing she said was "I'm so tired," and then she elaborated that they are constantly moving, nowhere is safe, and they are exhausted.

No one can survive like this for long. Certainly, no one can thrive like this.

Please share Aya's story and her fund. Please contribute when you can. Her family is on borrowed time without intervention. All of your help so far has made the difference. We can't get through this without you. You can give her back some hope. Thank you.

Hello dear friends,

Thank you for standing by Aya throughout the horrors she is facing. Aya hasn't had money to buy food for several weeks. A few donations are coming in, and she is very thankful. Please help us share her fund with others. If you can contribute to help her afford food, please do so soon. The situation in Gaza is more dire every day, and without your support they cannot eat. Your help gives her hope.

Thank you for being with her in this time.

Dear friends,

Thank you so much for the support you have given to Aya. You are the difference between suffering and life. Aya looks to you for hope.

Aya is a new mother of a baby girl and has two other small children. Shortly after she gave birth, their home was destroyed. They need to find shelter and need food.

The past few weeks Aya hasn't seen much support and it may be that she hasn't been in touch due to internet outages. Usually, she would reach out but she may not be able to right now. I am reaching out to plead with you to support Aya if you are able to. If you can contribute please do, but even if you can't please share her fund link all over the internet to increase awareness and maybe increase support. We appreciate your help so much. Thank you again.

Hello dear community,

I want to extend my deepest gratitude on Aya's behalf for your help to her during her pregnancy. Aya gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Mother's day.

I hate to bear any bad news at such a time but a few days later Aya's house was bombed and they were left without shelter. Aya asked me to update her picture to those of her house. They urgently need basic shelter. They also need food and baby things, particularly milk and diapers. Please support Aya during this time if you are able. Even if not able please share her fund and her story. She just gave birth and is now suddenly homeless in the most dangerous place on earth.

Thank you again for your hearts and the hope you give.
