💜 Justice, Legacy & Love – Honoring Tamia Through Mama Mia Cookies
My name is Marisha Costello, and I am a mother, a wife, a grandma, and a woman on a mission. My beautiful daughter, Tamia, was tragically taken from us on August 04, 2024 in a hit-and-run accident. Tamia was crossing the street in Hazel Crest IL when she was struck by two vehicles (neither vehicle stopped and no one is in custody). She was only 22 years old, with a bright future and a passion for baking.
Tamia started Mama Mia Cookies in a Jar as a teenager, pouring love into every cookie she made. In her honor, I am relaunching her business to keep her memory alive while supporting families affected by hit-and-run tragedies.
But this is more than just a business—it’s a movement.
