This is our Miah. She is a nine year old American Bulldog whom we've had since she was two months old. She's a very friendly and loving dog who enjoys going for long walks on the beach.
We've recently noticed a swelling in Miah's belly as well as abnormal times of urination during her naps and throughout the night. After an urgent visit to the vet; they performed numerous tests including: bloodwork, urinalysis, urine culture, abdominal ultrasound and a chest x-ray. We were informed that she has two masses, one on her adrenal gland and one on her spleen.
We took Miah to a specialist soon after and after additional tests, we were told that Miah will require surgery to remove her spleen (splenectomy) and the mass on her left adrenal gland before it fatally ruptures.
Our Miah is a special member of our family and we are seeking any help we can get to provide our girl with this life-saving surgery. No donation is too small and every amount received is greatly appreciated. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to have the surgery for our Miah.
