On Friday, August 14, Robert and Karen Lopez tragically lost their lives in a car accident on Highway 361. They were on their way to pick up their son after his first week of high school when the unthinkable happened.
Robert and Karen were devoted parents, loyal friends, and proud Marine Corps veterans whose strength, service, and love touched countless lives. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, faith, and love. Their sudden passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who knew them.
Most devastatingly, Robert and Karen leave behind 6 children, the youngest only 13 years old. As the family faces this overwhelming loss, we are asking our community to come together and help ease the financial burden ahead.
No amount of money can replace Robert and Karen or take away the pain their family is experiencing. But together, we can honor their legacy by surrounding their children with the same love, loyalty, and support that Robert and Karen gave so freely to others.
This fundraiser is being organized by their oldest daughter, Andrea, on behalf of her siblings and the Lopez family. All funds raised will help the family manage the immediate expenses resulting from this tragedy and support the ongoing needs of Robert and Karen’s children.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser. Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will make a difference. Above all, please keep Andrea, her siblings, and everyone who loved Robert and Karen in your prayers as they begin navigating life without them.
Thank you for helping us honor Robert and Karen.
